I got a text msg saying I won $1000 gift card, need to go to www.targetcontest.com to redeem it. I believe this is a scam. It came from a phone number starting area code 612, but could well be a fake number. Does anyone know how to stop this?

- If you are using a Smartphone, there are apps that will allow you to 'block' calls/text messages from unknown callers/senders. If you have am older cell, filing a complaint with Scambook, your carrier and the FCC may help.
