I checked my bank account and noticed a check for $30 that I had not written. I discovered through my bank that the check was put through by Palm Loan Advances and they gave me a phone number. I called them and they verified my information even though I had never talked to anyone at this business and had never applied for a loan through them. The woman did not understand English and barely spoke English. She said the money was for a loan and I had been approved. I told her I had never applied and did not want a loan. My bank asked her to fax a copy of my application with my signature and authorization and she said she could not do that. I then paid $35 to my bank to stop payment on the $30 check they were fraudulently submitting for payment and completed a fraud report. You should see the check they had- it was almost identical to one from my checkbook, logo and everything!
