John Ruiz from Venture Eqity Services called to purchase 5 time share bonus weeks for $1500.00 per week from the Marival Suites. He then sent us a package that included a copy of our contract with the Marival. The $7500.00 would be held by a trust company, Newport Trust in Denver Co.First we had to wire the maintenance fees to Banco Santander Mexican bank, which we did. We then recieved an e-mail from Richard Goldberg from newport trust telling us there was now a Mexican Income Tax on the rental complete with all the tax forms. This amount was $1425.00. We wired this money to the same bank. A week later Carolyn from Newport trust phoned and told us we needed to send them $2095.00 in closing costs and commission. When we questioned her about taking it out of the money being held in trust for us she said that was not possible.
A couple of phone calls later, they do not answer their phone and do not return calls.
We have since called Venture Equity Services and they do not answer their phone and do not return messages
