I signed up for a free trial of Ivory White. Their online ad indicated free 7 day trial, only $1.00 would be charged using a credit or debit card, at which point you could cancel. I received the product on 8/29/11 (signed up on 8/23/11). I noticed today (9/2/11) that a charge for $78.41 had already been deducted from my Visa debit card. When I contacted them on the phone, I was told by a Customer Service rep Jade, that the free trial offer begins started with the date that you sign up for it (ridiculous). They don't even allow you to receive the product and try it out before charging you for this. She also kept saying that the account would be cancelled but they would not refund my money event after I explained this was an unauthorized credit of my account. I asked to speak with a Supervisor and was told they were not available. I asked for the Supervisors name and was told the name was French. She (Jade) refused to give me the Supervisors last name and also explained she did not know when he would be avialable to take a call. I proceeded to tell her that I believed her company's free trial offer is nothing but a scam. Other companies that offer a free trial will not charge your credit card until after the trial period ends and gives the customer ample time to cancel before any charges are made on their credit cards. I believe this company's practices are fraudulent and I've read other complaints on the internet from other customers regarding this company and their fraudulent practices. I am in the process of sending an email to the Colorado's Attorney General's office, as well as to the Better Business Bureau, and Consumer Affairs. If there is anything that you can do on my behalf in order for my funds to be refunded to me, I would appreciate it.
