Responed to an advertisement in local newspape Recieved a call from Becky Thomas on 10/26/12 stating that my loan for 3000.00 was approved and she went over the details over the loan with me. The lender requested that since my credit was poor, he would neeed an upfront fee of 450.00 to secure the loan and that my money would be deposited right away. She faxed me the documents that I needed to sign. I signed them and returned them back to her at this fax no. 18006897411, which was on 10/30/12.(same number being used for their office)She told me to give her two hours after I sent 450.00 by western union plus a 40.00 fee totaled 490.00. I called her on the same day to give her the MTCN. I was to send this money to Shawn Baker of Ontario, Canada. She returned my call and told me that it was recieved and that now the lender was asking for another 450.00 because of my credit score had dropped again since the application was done and he did not want to lose that amount of money. I was told that by sending this money,it would take care of the first year of repaying the loan back. I thought that this was a pretty good deal. I sent another 450.00 plus 40.00 to Shawn Baker on 10/31/12. I then called Becky Thomas to give her the MTCN. She stated that it would be in my account on that same day.(3000.00) I waited for her to call and I also checked my bank account and there had been no deposit debited into my account. When I finally reached her the following day 11/01/12, She told me that the 3000.00 should have been debited into my account. She then put me on hold for about 30secs. and when she returned to the phone, she said that the lender was now asking for a 400.00 insurance fee. I immediately told her to cancel my contract and tp return all of the monies that I sent. She informed me that her co. could insure it for me, but I insisted that everything be canceled. She stated that it would take 30days to return the money and asked if i was willing to wait that long. I told her yes and then I hung up. After two days, I called her to find out the progess on sending back my money at this number 18006897411 ext.88 but no reply. I called several times again, the the number has been temporarily unavailable. Is there anything I can do to get my funds back. I am due for my rent and without it I can be evicted!
