I had placed a call to Verizon, and I was told that I had won a 2 day cruise to Grand Bahama Island for two people leaving from Palm Beach, Fl. any time within an 18 month period. All I had to do was pay port fees for a trip that included the free cruise all inclusive. I was told the the package was being offered by Caribbean Cruise Lines as a promotion offer. All I had to do is tell friends about the trip. They said they felt that word of mouth was the best way to advertise their business. I was told that I would be sailing to Port Lucaya where I could visit the Grand Lucaya Resort. Prior to sailing, the trip included a stay at the Ramada Inn in Ft Lauderdale and a rental car would be included in the trip. All meals and the rental at no cost to me. I told them I was not interested in the Ft. Lauderdale portion of the trip, but would rather stay the three days at the Lucaya resort. They said "No problem", I could stay there at a discounted rate and would have to pay for my meals. They said because I was taking advantage of the discounted rate at Lucaya, they were giving me a trip to Orlando, all expenses paid including meals.Iwas passed around to several people for verification purposes. Unfortunately, I gave them my Charge card number. When I tried to cancel, customer service got belligerent. The charge was already on my credit card. The only name I remember is that of the first person I spoke with,Jessica Sirio who called me because I hung up before I we were through be cause I had an appointment which I mentioned twice. She left her number (888)376-0714 for me to call her back. By the way, the charge was 935 dollars.
