Claimed to be a recruitment agency for modelling and acting. I was contacted by texts and phone calls. In order to be recruited they said i needed a portfolio of photo's. They offered this to me at "discounted price" of $350 (Australian) dollars. They said i had to make the payment first then make a booking. Once I made the payment all contact was lost and therefore resulting in loss of money and the services promised.

- Has this ever been resolved and what other information do you have on the company, I was contacted when I submitted a profile I uploaded photos that were taken by a friend who was a photographer and then was told they weren't acceptable :-s they then asked me to do the photoshoot with them, but I didn't proceed once I saw this post

- No it hasn't I haven't any idea in which way to go about it. I have the so called "companies" BSB number and two different phone numbers that they contacted me on. I checked out their website and reseached the adresses of there "studios" on google maps, they came up as random buildings.

- Haha yer I saw that too, the studio was a car shop or garage it seemed, I was actually planning on visiting the st Kilda address to see if they were actually ther. Oh well some things are too good to be true

I am the owner of this company, and I have tried to contact Steph37 regarding this matter I have also tried to contact the operators of this website.
In both cases I have been ignored even after paying money to this website to do so.
If anything is a scam it is this website which seems to be basically designed to blackmail and bully other companies on the Internet.
The practice of slandering the competition is common place among some of our less ethical competitors!
That being said if anyone has a issue with my business or would like any information please contact me by email and I will get back to you as soon as possible and remember you cant always believe everything you read on the Internet! my email address is [email protected]

went for a photoshoot with Real People and I was rushed and the photos turned out (Inappropriate Content Removed)! I then was contacted by Jordan Larden from Specialised Training and Recruitment on 0468413962 who told me that they didnt mind where I got the photos done but that he had options for me. I took his option of a shoot with a makeup artist for $350 as that is the standard price through their studio (dont know where you got the $300 price from but I smell (Inappropriate Content Removed)) The photographer was more than a photographer he was an artist, he made me feel totally at ease and before I knew it he had some of the best photos I have ever seen of myself. I have had dealings with a lady called Roxanne at Real People who was rude and unhelpful and Jordan Larden from STAR who has answered even late night calls to help me. STAR also have 24hr support team on the website in the top right corner, I have also downloaded their phone application that is awesome and I am getting heaps of job offers as well as I just finished a 4 day promotional job with them at the convention center. It saddens me to see a faceless nameless person saying in my experience untruths. That is my 50 cents.
