Purchased boxed DVD set, advised shipping was 6 weeks, then advised it was with local carrier, when I requested a refund it was advised that they would 'reship express'. They are no longer returning any of my emails. Dept of Fair Trade have had no luck in receving a response. I have noted quite a few other people have had similiar issue with this company.

  • Hi Tanya! I waited almost 90 days after ordering a box set from this so called company! It arrived today and half the discs wont play, and those that will are unwatchable due to the poor quality! I asked for a refund several times and they no longer respond to my e-mails either! I would love to have them shut down but who do you go to for that?

  • I've been thinking a lot about these scammers, and becoming increasingly more annoyed. I don't expect to see either my money or any DVDs. I'm going to take this issue to A Current Affair and see if they are interested in taking it on. Not for myself but for the 40+ other Aussies that have been caught by these people, they are clearly portraying themselves s an Australia company and are taking us all for a ride. If we can get them shut down at least they won't be able to steal from any other unsuspecting Australians.

  • So i called my credit card company and they agreed to try and get my money back, I submitted all the emails, two weeks after I did this I get a package from Canada. They sent me what appear to be copies, some of the DVDs have nothing on them, I reckon they did this to show they sent something, still not happy, no way I would have paid $125 for some dvds that look like I made them.

  • Craig, I too have attempted to get my money back via my bank, will wait and see what comes of that. Clearly those that do receive their purchase are being supplied with substandard quality, most that have reported on here receive nothing. From what I read, those that have received may as well just get nothing as the DVDs are unwatchable. I have reported this to ACCC and this morning I have sent the story to A Current Affair in a hope that they can stop these people from continuing to portray their business as an Australian business and rip us Aussies off. I will keep you informed of my progress.

  • Hoe you have some luck Tanya! I have cancelled my credit card as some-one wrote that Kang dvd had tried to take more money from their account! I actually received an email from them last night saying 'sorry you are not happy with your purchase!' They told me to send it back- at my cost! I e-mailed them to say half the discs were blank and the others were such poor quality they were not watchable! They even include the ads on these copies! I am not prepared to waste money on postage when I am sure I will get no refund and they will send these dvds to some other poor buyer! Hope your actions at least get their website off!

  • I'm not expecting to get my money back, that I think is gone. I have spoken to the Dept of Fair Trade today and they have advised me that they have staff that do look at all these sorts of sites and at Facebook as well, so hopefully they will pick something up and get this mob shut down. If you google KangarooDVD, you get pages of complaints come up. I don't know how they sleep at night! We shall keep fighting Jacqui.
