I'd like to share this with as many people as possible. I HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY MTS COMMUNICATIONS. I'm seeking out as much help as I can get, and thanks to social media, I have faith that my story will be heard.
Earlier this evening, at around 5pm, I have just returned from studying at the library and a nice young man knocks at my door (and I live in a gated community). So I open the door and ask if I can help him. He proceeds to speak rapidly and cite many notable charitable organizations, one of which I recognized - MADD (mothers against drunk driving). So he asks politely if he can come in and further explain to me just exactly what he's doing here, and I allow him in, as my roommate came out of her room to see what the commotion was about.

This young man proceeded to explain to me that he is going to the marine corps and he is actually going to go to Cal State Fullerton, the school that everyone at my apartment complex goes to. So he continues to explain to me that he's almost about to win a contest to a trip to Italy, and shortly after his trip, he'll be going to boot camp at the marine corps. He gives me several lists of magazines and books that he says are about a dollar or more each (but neglects to inform me that the company only receives magazine subscriptions with the minimum purchase of two years)

He then continues to repeat information, cite more sources and even provides me with a terribly sad story about his sister who died in a drunk driving accident (and he even showed us a tattoo in dedication to her). His slang and diction should have been an immediate sign that he was up to no good.
He was not professional in his selling skills but he was incredibly persistent.

He continued selling hard and told me that he was only 8 sales away from winning the contest. I continued to ask him questions and his information was inconsistent, and I should have know right then and there. The signs and the stars aligned, but I tried to summon the good in me to buy from him in order to get him closer to a trip before he went off to serve for our country.

So I ended up reluctantly writing him 3 checks to MTS Communications LLC (under the alias Dynasty Technologies) with a P.O. Box address (I should have known that was trouble also) and giving cash to another organization, "International Communications Concepts". He told me and reassured me that my money would be returned and all I needed to do was send in the receipt filled out with the refund form, however, upon further research on this MTS Communications LLC I found out that I got scammed out of $205 (my roommate was scammed $125).

I'm a working college student working a minimum wage job and a full time course load. Not only can I not afford to lose this kind of money, but more importantly I cannot afford to spend all of this energy in fighting this. But I will not be robbed and I need my money and dignity back.

I need my money back but I also need this company to get shut down and I cannot and will not rest until something is done about this.
