I purchased this Debenhams card of £25GBP for 55pGBP and after the email says i have 7days to cancel or the normal monthly fee's of £36.40GBP will come out my bank for the platinum account. I tried to log into the ziinga.com website to cancel but the username and account number they gave me always redirects me back to the same promotional page for the debenhams card again. I have now realised, even if you dont enter username etc and anywhere you click on the page, it redirects you to the debenhams promotion page all the same. I emailed them as soon as i paid the 55pGBP and got the email to say i cannot log in and exlained that i wanted to cancel, and all they replied was that this takes you to your account on the website and they have noe deemed the matter resolved. This angered me and when i replied to say that i has not been resolved and I want to cancel and do not want the monthly membership fee out of my account, i didnt hear back from them, but I did see the £36.40GBP monthly membership fee deducted from my bank account. I called my bank and they have put a stop to anymore payments from this company coming out and if they do take more then i will be refunded by the bank but my bank says they cannot refund what has already been taken because of the type of transaction it was, as i used my debit card as i do not have a credit card. The bank says i have to dispute this with the company for a refund and I sent them an email straight away demanding a refund and I will be taking this matter further if i do not recieve it but I havent had a response before now so dont expect to now. The threat of taking it further was just a bluff though as i dont know how to go about it, can anyone help me out and point me in the right direction where to begin? Is this correct about the bank not being able to do anything about the money that was taken already?, is there anything else i can do to try and get this from the bank? I have the email proving that I requested the account be cancelled within the 7 day period ziinga say i have to cancel?
