HE STARTED TALKING TO ME ON MATCH.COM AND CHEMISTRY.COM AND THEM YAHOO, THEY SHOULD KNOW ALL THE SCAMMERS USE THEM. THEN HE NEEDED NEW COMPUTER AFTER HE GOT THERE AND ALL HE HAD WAS CASHIER CHECKS AND POOR COUNTRY WOULD NOT TAKE SO I LOST THE MONEY FOR COMPUTER $1628.00, THEN HE GOT ME MESMERIZED I AM ASHAMED TO SAY WITH PICTURES OF THIS GENTLEMAN WHICH I NOW KNOW IS NOT HIM.,NEXT HE NEEDED MONEY TO PAY FOR CARGO AND FREIGHT AND INSURANCE TO BRING GOLD HOME FOR JEWELRY HE WAS OPENING IN GEORGIA WHICH HE TOLD ME IN AUGUST HE WAS OPENING. HE NEED CUSTOMS FUNDS AND TO MAKE LONG STORY SHORT, HE GO $19,000.00 OUT OF ME PLUS THE MONEY I SPEND HAVING HIM INVESTIGATED, THAT IS WHY I KNOW WHO HE IS . I AM A WIDOW AND UNABLE TO WORK AND HE TOOK EVERY LAST PENNY. I AM CONTACTING WITH FBI FOR WIRE FRAUD, HE MISREPRESENTED HIMSELF. HE IS A BLACK MAN IN GHANA, YOUNGER NO THIS MIDDLE AGE MAN, I THOUGHT HE WAS. HE TRICKED ME BY SENDING ME A TINY PIECE OF GOLD AND TWO SHIRTS HE SAID THEY MADE OVER THERE. HE SENT ME PICTURES AND TOLD ME ALL KINDS OF LIES. I HATE HIM AND I HOPE THE MAN IN THE PICTURE IS FOUND BEFORE THEY USE HIS LOOKS AGAIN FOR CRIME.

For me, he called Smith Mark 48 Years old ... Widower and two children .... Could it be that it is one and the same.

- I would love to know answer to this. I have been emailing with a couple of guys from match and one of them is a Mark Smith. He is 54 years old and widowed with 2 kids from Franklin, TN according to match.com. I recently received an email from a Donald Smith and when I copied part of the email in google it was a scammer. I think they are the same person but can't be for sure since I have two other men that I have emailed with also. Now I am thinking this is someone who is attempting to scam me since he is similar to your post.

- Update on Mark Smith aka Donald Smith. He was on match as "tkdsmith" living in Franklin, TN. He first emailed me from [email protected] as Mark Smith and then from [email protected] with an email that I googled and was able to find as a very well known scammer. I saved pics but he is widowed in the pics, gray headed, beard and mustache. Well I never deleted his likes from my pics so I went through them. His profile is now not available on match but when I go through the likes on my pics it shows his profile basics and pic. The pic is now of a different gray headed man and suddenly he lives in Chicago, IL and is 58 years old goes by the profile of "tkd57493".
