Went to my bank Bethpage Federal Credit Union and drafted an official check from my checking account to pay my credit one credit card payment which was due Sept 8, 2012 in the amount of 59.00 and I mailed a certified check on Sept 1, 2012 in the amount of 160.00 to city of industry California 91716-0500 Credit One Payment Service Dept Center after sevral days I called to see if payment was processed they advised me they did not recieve payment. I then went to Bethpage Federal Credit Union to stop payment on the check and was given a fax number to fax the affidavit and agreement to sign that check was lost so the bank could return money to my account to be reissued. Credit One Bank claimed they havent recieved the fax and that it takes 7 businees days to process the fax it is now 4 days later and they gave me another number to fax to which is a more immediate number where they are. Given the brevity of the situation why did they not give em that number 1st. Now I have late fees involved additional finance charges and now my credit report is being impacted.
