Dear Sir / Madame

As a frequent client of this petrol station mainly for goods related to M&S food court, I have in various occasions been victim of short change by the staff in this shop.

In three different occasions I requested the shop attendants to review the change as they - specifically two members of staff have intentionally given short change when paying in cash. In the past, I was asked if I wanted to have one of the 2 for 1 offers as I was taking one of the products although I had declined, but anyway I was charged for the 2 for 1 offer, when I realised outside the shop I had to come back to request my change back.

Today 07/09/2012 at17:27, I decided to pay in cash and since I do not trust the staff services I requested my receipt, again in this occasion I was £0.50 short in change. The amounts are irrelevant but the principle is the reason why I am writing to you. Over and over and over again these individuals continue to offend BP's and M&S's clientele.
When I requested my complete change back, the shop attendants review the change and without any comment gave me the correct change back.

It is evident that this is an institutionalised practice and although it is difficult to prove I kept my receipt from today's shop which contains the date, till details – with a name quite different from the nametag used by the shop attendant today- so I believe you can identify specifically who was in the shift providing this unsatisfactory service.

I have been reviewing various local posts on internet regarding this practice and it seems that I am not the only one that has been short-changed over and over and over again.

I would like you and your company to begin a staff audit and a complete investigation in this practice, I believe that under consumer law my rights are not been respected.
