On August 30, 2012, at approximately 2:45pm, I walked into the Subway Restaurant located at 3950 Minnesota Avenue, NE, Washington, DC 20019, to order a Footlong sandwich. I observe the server laying four slices of turkey, roast beef, and when he was going to lay four slices of ham until I said lay ALL the ham on one side. He said that he only has to put two slices of ham. I insisted that if the server could not put all four slices on one side, that he should only prepare for me a 6" sandwich. At this request, he refused to serve me. He said that I asked for a Footlong, and that was all he was serving me. He walked away, and refused to make a 6" sandwich for me. I approached a police officer who observed and witnessed the incident and I took his information to give an account of the incident. I will be contacting the better business bureau and an attorney because he refused to change my order, then he refused to serve me altogether.
