Rental Leasing agency that i called and i paid $160 for they can find me a apartment. I paid with a Money order check from my back. The rental leasing agency (#1 Today's Rental) have gave me the run around and have not provided an apartment for me to move in. I went in person to ask for my money back and i was told by a clerk they lost my file that i filled out. I have all the copies and a copy of the cashiers check. I then called the Downey Police Department and i talked to a watch commander. He advised me to contact the small claims. I am also adding a witness her name is Silvia Aguilar 323-424-6462 cell, she also has gotten the same run around for getting a refund. So, i would like to know if you can help me on this issue and reimbursed the full amount. i have tried to contact the owner and they can not seem to get in contact. I I have traveled from Anaheim to Downey on 08-24-12 at about 6pm to collect my refund but i was given the run around. Then i came on 08-29-12 and i still had no success in getting my refund. i have collected the business information for this leasing agency. this place is located in downey ca 9900 lakewood blv unit 106.
