i was paying an excessive amount on collect calls from a loved one that was incarcerated. long story short this company claimed to provide me with a local phone number that will have a montly charge of 29.95 a month for unlimted calls! they proceeded to tell me they needed to charge me an additional 14.95 for service fees, & 14.95 for 1 time activation fee, in total charging me $65.09 (including tax)from my debit card. the next day i was told that my husband got in trouble because of the local number the company provided me to give to him to call me was blocked. the number was not working! i was using myvconnect phone service provider when jail call services told me not to inform v-connect about their service! thats when i realized it was a scam & i tried to contact jail call services to cancel my account & refund my money but theres no answer on the phones or email & i tried logginf back in to jail call services acccount website & when i tried it said invalid email address or password! but i put in the correct info! they are a SCAM!! this is a bogus company!! i would like to know how to g about getting my money back i want to know is there another way to reach out & get this company shut down perminatly!
