american financial called us because we applied for a pay day loan on line.they offered us a "guaranteed"loan of $1500.they told us to buy a reloaded green dot card and put $172.00 on it.we paid $5 for the green dot.the $172 was to be the amount of our monthly payment for 6mths.They kept calling us to make sure we had the right card and amount.then they said they forgot about taxes and we needed to make another payment of $146.00 using western union. Then they requested another $100.00 (by now we are broke)to secure our loan for whatever reason.we declined. We called them all day friday 8/24/2012 asking for a refund.they declined.they insist we follow through with the loan that was originally only to cost $172.00 or we lose the $335.00.They hang up on us or cuss us out and say theres nothing anyone can do.They also claim to be in goodstanding with walmart and insisted we buy the green dot card from there.their phone # is 2092573220.

Update: 08/26/2012
