Scam alert. I've heard Clark Howard talk about these scams. I received a letter in the mail from Canada, but w/ a Home Depot logo in the return address corner (but w/ no address). It a supposed Mega UK Lottery, I don't even play the US lottery. The check appears "real" from Southeast Missouri State University. Really? Don't cash it! Don't Deposit it.

- Thank you Chirowife. I too received the same check and letter. I did call the phone number and the man that answered the phone had very broken English and first off he wanted my phone number to check my account. I asked him a few times what he needed my number for. he can access my account by the account number i provided. He then hung up on me. major red flag warning raised then, i logged in and found your complaint Thank you for Posting this and saving me from being another fish caught in this net.
