I could be a victim but am not. I just wanted to warn people about this outfit.

I search web for "Fire Fox Help" and telephoned the first number showed up on a result page, 1-866-447-3184.

I only wanted a help on how to change the font size on my Fire Fox G-calendar (G-mail).

Their technical support guy immediately convinced me that my computer system needed to be diagnosed and he needed to access my laptop computer remotely which I agreed. I typed "www.tinyurl.com/6z3yrru" so that he could remotely "see" my computer.

A window popped up on my laptop showing a long list of "infected files (over 10,000)". The technician said that my lap top was in the blink of total shut down and needed to install their software to restore a stability. They first said for $599.99 for their "Antimal Ware Bytes" for three ear free technical support.

While our lengthy conversation I also talked with their supervisor of technician who offered $199.99 then $149.99 with for onetime only support and the download of their software.

I finally asked them to disconnect their access to my lap top which they warned me that by doing so I will lose all my data and the ability to operated my lap top all together because my lap top was ireversibly infected. At that point I couldn't even "shut down" my laptop nor load my Microsoft Ward. The mouse was not responding.

They pressed hard and used scare tactic to make me to commit to purchase their software and service, but, I declined.

After I hung up my phone, I took a big breath and shut down my lap by pressing the power button. Then, I hard booted my lap top. My laptop is back on and operable. I am sending this from my lap top.
