I had to make several urgent calls to my wife from Toronto to New York. There was no information on how to make a call or on the rates, only an automated operator that said 'to place a call, press 1'. As everybody else, I pressed '1'; it seems that if you wait until '3' then they tell you the rates. I complained to the company for the charges (the total amount charged was over $80) and absurdly they go on to negotiate. They seem to offer a 35% off to start with. I negotiated further but got fed up and I finally accepted a 50% off. This means I will pay $40 for 5 calls, still a ripoff. I think that if you keep negotiating one can even get a fair price.
