tommy baxter rang in reply to my advert requesting norton 19s engine & gearbox, saying if I transfered £315 into his lloyds TSB bank account name of tommy account number 07050862 sort code 775501 he would have them sent on a pallet. In the end after dozens of emails he admitted he had not sent them & having lost his job & his wife had a car accident he would return cash in small weekly ammounts. dozens of emails later after £260 repaid contact finally finished In feb I complained to British Telecom that line was being used to originate hundreds of similar scams. I learned this by googling Tommy Baxter Got quite a shock. I have informed all magazines of scam also Metropolitan police, who tooik details & later rang back saying that because he had paid small amounts of cash back in most instances it was not a police matter. I then asked if he had used google to check my report answer was no. I always understood Police were supposed to sort crimes ? obviously not. I have sent email to Police complaints department.
