I was looking into apartments in San Francisco and they wanted the deposit money be sent to them before giving me the keys. They keep saying they were going to send me the keys and keep giving me excuses the next day. So they would ask for more and make promises of sending them right after and even using God's name in their words. Then they keep giving more excuses like they got robbed, had an accident, and claiming David Starks died. I just wanted an apartment and they took all my savings and are still asking for more and I don't know what to do. They have already said they were going to fly to California to send me the keys and rental agreement 3 times and nothing has happened. I would ask them for my money back as a refund since they can't give me the keys but won't do it.

I just had the same dealings with these people except they did not get my money, they had too many holes in the scam and there address given is a homeless shelter in cleveland and the guy gave a British phone #. The email given to me was [email protected]. I thought it was an isolated incident but apparently not, you should repoort this fraud artist to the FBI or Homeland Security.
I am in Toronto, Canada and you in SF makes ya wonder how many others he has tried to defraud. Sorry for your loss -

- Same people just scammed me too using the email [email protected]. Using the same gals name and homeless shelter address called "Laura's Place" for battered women and their children. I'm out $2700. Apparently they have both died in a horrific fire and are unable to return my money.

Could be but most likely a team , I have informed the shelter
to the fraud taking place using them as an address. The collector of the funds doesnt have any direct contact with the "mark" that
way. Yvonne Starks is somehow connected to the shelter and is the pickup person- If I can help let me know -

- Scammed today also $350 for a SF apartment. They are currently operating under the address 167118 CLIFTON BLVD. Payment went simply to Yvonne Starks, they might have taken the Tracie out of the name.

1) your telephone number shows up in a zillow listing on east coast
2) your pictures have no EXIF data and say they were prcessed by ebay uploader
3) you have declined to provide any customery 3rd party identity
It presents as a scam Mark.
