I was solicited to attend a sales presentation with my wife in order to receive a flight voucher for 2 airline tickets worth no more than $1398. When I confirmed my appointment, I was told that I'd also receive a 3 night/4 day cruise and a 2 night/3 day hotel stay along with the airline tickets. This is a big scam as each offer is separate with their own processing fees, activation fees, and registration fees and cannot be booked together but are standalone deals - and that the offer presented to me during solicitation was not accurate as presented. The reality is that these are all slightly discounted packages, with fees in the hundreds of dollars.

  • My wife and I were also solicited by flyamerica vacation passports for a 90 minute sales scam about a vacation club. We were asked to send 4.95 for processing for 2 airline tickets anywhere in the U.S., plus 4 day 3 night stay at a major hotel. We did not buy the vacation club, and cancelled the unsoliceted master card they signed us up for, and to date have heard nothing about the airline tickets. There are several company's working together as one to scam as much out of people as they can. These are very high pressure sales presentations. The company's that I dealt with were Fly America vacation passport, the initial contact. Global Discovery Vacations who put on the presentation, and Premium Destinations who operated the local travel office. I suspect that because I didn't buy their product I will never see the tickets. Others are now stuck paying thousands of dollars on a credit card at a minimum of 19%. Just a word to the wise if it looks to good to be true, IT IS!!!!!!
