I applied for a free sample of Slimvida for a cost of £2.49 for postage. I did not receive the sample and then 3 weeks later I discover Slimvida have taken £69.95 from my credit card. This is a scam and there appears to be lots of others who have fallen victim to this. Something must be done to stop them.

  • I was more fortunate than most with regard to my order for slimvida. As soon as I realised that the advertisement was at least misleading (clicking on any of the "BBC" links took me back to the slimvida details) I contacted my credit card provider and asked them to block any future payments to the company. (They had received a number of similar requests and so there was no problem). I paid the delivery costs and received the product within 5 days. I rang them to get the return instructions and sent the unopened goods back by post with delivery tracking. Checked Post office website and the parcel was delivered the following day. Have heard nothing further from the company so assume all is OK.
