Hello, my name is Laura Yepez. I am writting to you to report a scam/fraud. Last week I was searching through craigslist.com looking to apply for a job. I found one that paid $500 a week, to be a driver. I sended an email and got a response. The name that appears in the email is Regalado Perez, this person is supose to be the husband of the lady I had to drive which name is Sara; in the emails he specifies that I would have to drive Sara 3 times a week for about 3 hours each day. Also that I would get a check on the mail with my salary and Sara's travel expenses. The total amount of money i recieved was $3550, $500 for me, and the rest to a travel agency. Regalado Perez told me that with the rest of the money I would have to transfer it through a money gram to the travel agency, divided it into 2 to tranfer it to 2 different travel agency persons; $1525 to Monica Murray, $1525 to Jota Jeanpierre. I got that check on Monday the 15th, and had a 2-day hold for the money to be available, on Wednesday the 17th I went to my bank and took out the money and made the monet gram transfer. On Thursday the 18th I checked my bank account to see that the money from the check has been returned, I call costumer service to ask what this meant, and the told me the check had no funds. Immediately I email regalado Perez and told hiim the checks had no funds, he said that it was a lied and if he could call me, at that moment I was in class and could'nt anwers any phone call, so I told him that as soon as I get home I would email him so he can call me. When I got to my house the first thing I do is send Regalado Perez and email, to this moment he hasn't respond back.
If you need any prove, I have all the email he sended me as well as the envelope where the check came and a picture of the check.
Please, I now owe my bank about $3200, money that I do not have, I am only a college student with no job. I need your help.
