it happened in Montreal canada. I answered for a motorhome on kijiji. The supposed owner contacted me to give me more info about the vehicle and saying let me know if you still interested. answer back saying yes. so the answer was well I'm out of town because of kids, wife and lawyer, i can't take care of it, i left it under net consignor care; if you don't know what it is, you can go on the web site and read therms and conditions, i ll help you through the process. go on the web site, look great, good deal: send the money, put on hold, vehicle is shipped to buyer who have 10 days to inspect it and keep it or return it without fees. I did wire transfert, they send an e-mail saying that they received the money, everything was in order, they start thee shipping and I ll receive the vehicle on friday 6th of jully at 6.00pm. The driver will contact me in few hours to be sure i m at home to sign the paper. I never had a call so i tried to go on the web site to track the transaction, I couldn't go on it anymore. so i tried to send e-mails to them witch came back to me right the way with a failure delivery notice, and same way for the seller. I m not out of 5 years of economies and pretty much 200.00$ left in bank account. I barely give away 11 200 $
