I came aware of the previous posting from an angry customer and had to add my 2 cents. C.D. Legal Clinic, Damian, and the girls there .
I had an arrest on my record. It was, sad to say Domestic Battery,( I did not hit a woman she hit me and I went to jail) Not only does it look horrible on your back ground check and stop you from getting employment and renting apartments, but you lose your civil rights. ou can not own or buy a gun. I had a concealed permit and a gun and I lost it. I did not know that its basically treated like a felony even thou its only a misdemeanor.
Any ways, I called a couple lawyers and all of them said this arrest is not eligible to seal, and theres nothing I could do about it. a few years later I seen their (C.D.LEGAL) advertising and they told me that it was ineligible to sealm, but that I could get the Court to throw it out or change the charge and I then could seal it and get my gun rights back. It sounded to good to be true, especially all that for the low price I was quoted. I called a few lawyers again, asking and explainig what I was told about Post Conviction Relief Petitioning by C.D. LEGAL and most of the lawyers were short and rude, scoffing saying either like "no such thing" or " very unlikely " by one. Then 2 or 3 others said they could try it but quoted unbelievable prices like $4,000.00 , $5,000.00 and one said $10,000.00. This made me even more untrusting. I met with the gentleman at C.D.LEGAL and he was very uplifting and positive and when he said I could even break up their small fee in payments I figured what the hell.
Well the Judge changed it to Fighting, which is some smallest form of charge, a municpal ordinance or somethuing, they sealed the arrest and I bought me firearm and got my permit back. and while visiting their ofgfice numerous occassions I seen and heard many other guy (and some woman) come and go sharing very good results in each of their "issues".
So when I needed to find their phone number for a friend and his problem and googled them and seen this negative add I called them and told them about it, and that I was extremely happy and sending more people to them. It didnt feel like I was doing enough for them, especially after what all they have done for me(and probably alot of other people) so here I am.
Lawyer are for the most part very very expensive. I am sure if I looked hard and long enough I might have found someone to doit, but not for this price. And like I said when I first called around every lawyer slammed the door on me saying it COULD NOT BE DONE! well C.D.LEGAL CLINC did it! you need help and moneys tight or dont want to over pay for some of the simpler things I recommend these people!
