They told me that I had been chosen as one of the 15,000 people to receive a grant from the government in the amount of $8,400. I needed to pay $205.00 through Western Union for processing the grant. They gave me the name address, to send the money to, and I did that on 6/16/12 Then the "bank" called me. They said they were the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. They told me to send $499.00 for a deposit to receive the grant I did send $499.00 on 6/19/12. They asked for my bank account information so they could direct deposit the funds into my account, and I did give them the information. Afterwards they told me to wait for 30 minutes and call back. I called them back it took a while for them to answer the phone at first. Then they called me back and said there was a problem with the security at my bank. So they would have to wire the grant money to me, and that a financial manager would me back within 2 to 3 hours to explain the transaction. After that I haven't herd anything from them. It has now been 4 hours. I used my rent money to pay these phony grant people. Can anybody help me at least get my rent money back.....I hate these people!!!! there pony phone numbers are 202-407-7229/ 646-217-0277!!!!
