I am submitting a copy of the letter sent to Team National:
On April 11, 2011 through Johnnie Self an Independent Marketing Director with Team National. I enrolled as a Independent Marketing Director & enrolled in a 2 yr. membership $795.00. Before I enrolled on the program Johnnie Self phoned a 3 way call with me and Ronnie Dale Waltrip and later one with Robert Casen. With the Robert Casen call which included Angelia Chrysler, CEO of Team National. I have a brief conversation with Angelia. They were having a meeting at that time. The two calls were to get me motivated to join Team National. This membership was hyped, oversold and exaggerated by Johnnie Self, Ronnie Dale Waltrip, and Robert Casen to entice me to join Team National. Through Buyers remorse I cancelled on the second day of the three day recision. I spoke with Johnnie Self after I cancelled on the second day & he assured me this was a great company & opportunity & I should not cancel out of Team National. So I faxed into Team National a letter to not cancel the membership. I now believe this was Johnnie's ploy to get me past the three day recision. It worked. He was such a nice guy I believed him, he assured me he would help me be successful. What a great pitch. I received my Team National Website information by mail on April 13th, 2012 at 1:14PM, which only gave me a day and a half of the three day recision to view and research the website to determine if I made a wise decision with the membership. The welcome to Team National came to me by e-mail on April 12, 2012 at 5:56PM. A three day recision to view the Team National Website is ridiculous. I only had one and a half day to view the membership & website.
Is this some kind of money grabbing scam to get by the 3 day recision?
I am requesting a refund for my Membership of $795.00. I signed for on the Independent Marketing Director's Contract.
I am a 68 year old Senior Citizen that has been taken advantage of and will take any recourse available to me to recover my funds. If my funds are not returned by Team National I will contact all available websites including MLM and Scam Websites, Rippoff.com and all organizations available to me including Dunn & Bradstreet, BBB and US Chamber of Commerce. If I take enough action I may at least help someone else from getting involved with Team National. Just a few sales stopped to Team National will not recover my funds but I will get some satisfaction and help others.

  • That is terrible. I think that is a big concern with this company right now. Four teams equals 16,000 they say and you can do that in 3-4 months... Not ... I see people working very very hard and it's not happening. People can't buy right now something so huge and it is NOT fair to say people will make 1500.00 even a month at this point. the economy is not supporting that at all. I hope you got your money back. Team National has lost a lot of their leaders I understand because they income has gone way down. There is really not residual here as well. So you can have thousands in your group and not make money... once people buy a membership they don't need to rebuy. And now even the savings are not the greatest... due to all the deals other places. It's sad but true. Hope that company did you right.

  • direct sales, network marketing, & multi-level marketing (MLM) - all of which are legit. now don't get me wrong there have been some companies that cross the line and give good companies in the industry a bad name by association. that's no different than corruption in traditional big business or politics. and even good companies have bad "employees", ever been to a major chain restaurant where the service was poor?

    Team National is vetted by the DSA, the United States Chamber of Commerce, the BBB, hundreds of well known participant companies, thousands of small businesses, and Dun&Bradstreet. They've been in business since 1997, and the cost of membership has not increased in at least the last decade, yet value is added the membership near daily.

    unfortunately it sounds as though your complaint lies with the guy who brought you in, not the company itself - I do hope you get satisfaction with him
