Man named David called us and said we owed $599.99 for an ad with them and if we wanted it cancelled we had to pay in full. When we objected to ever authorizing this add he said he would turn us over to the billing department. The biotch in billing ( i refuse to call her a lady) said that I first had to say "yes I authorize this invoice to be sent to me" then she would send. Never got the invoice. So 2 months later they call and play back "yes I authorize this invoice" and say that was me agreeing to the bill I had to pay or I would go to collections in a week. I told them I would call them back then contacted the Better Business Bueroue. They said if you google this phone number all kinds of stuff comes up. She said she needed an address of the compnay to see if it was in her hands at all. I called them back and said I needed their address to pay my bill. It took her 5 minutes to get me an address. Then she tried really hard to talk me into paying over the phone right now and she would take $70 off my bill if I did. I said no and hung up her. Then I contacted the Federl Trade Commision and made a complaint. She said NOT TO PAY THEM and that it won't show up on my credit report hopefully she is right). She said this company is already under investigation. I want thes awholes stopped before they get anymore hard working Americans money. I want to see them thrown in jail!! What can we do?!
