Last September I purchased two airline tickets through eDreams (travel agency) whereby their ticketing system issued the wrong dates on the tickets when it printed them online.
Immediately upon noticing this (within 30 minutes of printing) I immediately read the general terms and sent emails to customer service, within an hours after that, sent an email claim form in accordance with their procedures with no response other than an auto
aknowledgement response via email that a next step response would be forthcoming, which it never did. I also called their service number and they said the email response should be the right procedure, no response. I later in the day also emailed a detailed letter describing the problem, never ever any response. I then checked eDreams out on google and found many complaints and statements from consumers that they felt there was the possibility of fraud or at the very least many cases of terrible customer service and lost fees paid to eDreams. American Express ws my method of payment online and so
I disputed the charge for $ 1,665 and faxed them copies of all my documenation. They submitted a dispute to British Airways and not eDreams since the tickets were BA tix. eDreams is the travel agency/merchant who issued the tix. The dispute was sent to BA and not eDreams and it came back tix were not used on the date issued for travel (which was issued a week after the date of purchase). Our trip was entered by me correctly online for May 16, 2011. So, American Express has not given me credit for the $ 1,467 but they did get a credit from eDreams for processing fees of $ 197. QUESTION:
I have resubmitted my inquiry with more assertiveness explaining in detail that AMEXCO
has not approached the merchant (eDreams) and needs to read and understand my claim is with eDreams-the Merchant. I am ready to file a small claims suit for the tix. eDreams is in Barcelona but is a lecensed travel agent in the US. Which small claims court should I file in? I live in Georgia (USA). I have service address for AMEXCO but not eDreams. How can I file legal service for the small claims suit on eDreams?

Already Tried:
Currently awaiting final re-investigation of dispute and potential refund through AMEXCO for refund from eDreams.

  • I use edreams almost every time to book flights and what I like most about it is how easy it is to use and I can always find great rates. Lately, I’m starting using to book hotel room as well, and it has been very convenient. Overall I would highly recommend it.
