I booked a flight for the "Best Man" at our wedding. Unfortunately, there was an accident on the Interstate going to the airport and the police and emergency crew shut down 2 Interstates. My "Best Man" called Hotwire immediately to
tell them he would not make the flight. They told him to go directly to
the Delta ticket booth as soon as he reached the airport. Unfortunately,
they were closed till 4:15 am the next morning.

I called Hotwire myself and I was told by Chelsey & Anna (not 1...but 2 Hotwire employees) that a work order would be put in place for a refund and I would be
contacted within 24 to 48 hours and a refund WOULD BE MADE by the first
of this week. I have checked my credit card and this is not the case. I
also did not receive any phone call. After I was told I would get a refund, I spent 2.5 hours on the phone with SEVERAL different people who insisted I book another flight at almost $1000 for him. When I refused to book another flight, I was put on indefinite hold for over a half an hour in which I just hung up.

I am very upset with Hotwire. My wedding was May 12, 2012 and can you
imagine the embarrassment my husband had to go through with no "Best
Man" thanks to their company. Not only did they devastate our wedding, but
ALL the gift monies we received is now going to have to go towards the
flight that never happened instead of allowing us to go on a Honeymoon.

Thanks Hotwire for ruining not only our Wedding, but our Honeymoon as well.

There are laws about changes for things that happen if it is an "Act of God"!
