I ordered two products advertised as used by Rachel Ray via a pop up in the NYT on line headlines for $4.95 each. Two weeks later Lean Spa began sending me duplicate orders at $79.99 each. They have continued sending me these products, UNSOLICITED, every 2-3 weeks.

My credit card company tells me there is nothing I can do but try to get them to discontinue. My credit card company has obviously received many other complaints about this company. Cancelling the card will not stop their ability to bill the company because I made the mistake of ordering something on line and giving my credit card number. Essentially this company, which now seems to be out of business (not taking any new orders, just fulfilling "continuing orders" from those of us stupid enough to order from them previously).

Do we have any recourse to Rachel Ray who obviously made some money from lending her name to this product and to this scam company?

Martha
