Makeover London called me saying that I had won a prize. I had to pay a small deposit to ensure that I arrived on the day. I did not agree to the huge amount they took from me. No verbal or paper agreement to it.
DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS AND PRAY ON PEOPLE!!!

  • Yes, they called me today as well saying I am the one among 4 000 people who won a free makeup and photoshooting. They told me that deposit is fully refundable it is just to secure my appointment for session. Though I didn't confirm that I would bring someone with me, they took straight away 100£ from my account instead of 50£. And after I called them asking about my deposit that I was misinformed they told me they can cancel appointment for me and charge me 125$ more and not to refund my deposit. But in case I will come to appointment I will be refundand but against any purchase with them. What kind of prize it is if you have to pay for it at the end? I was trying to call them again saying that according to Trade rules they are supposed to give me back my deposit as I can require it within 7 days but they were saying as if they cannot hear me, hellooo.... etc. If someone got in the same trouble please write to me, maybe we will try to visit their office.

  • This company are still going and attempting to get money out of people with the same principle. It's possible, if you jump through enough hoops, to get your money back if you are within 24 hours of agreeing to the terms. If they are demanding more money, I advise the somewhat drastic step of cancelling your debit card to prevent more money being taken.
