My cell phone was dead and I needed to call my husband to let him know that my GO train was delayed out of Toronto. I used the Bell payphone in Union Station with my credit card - the phone dialed through but then clicked on and off with a very bad connection - I basically yelled over the phone that I would be late (took about 15 seconds) and then I see that I get charged with a bill over $10! First of all, there is NO indication on the Bell payphone that they are using a secondary provider and secondly, what a SCAM to say that a call under 1 minute costs over $10! Both Bell and this group needs to be investigated for false advertising and fraud.
