Contracted based on $350 quote for 3 men and a truck to move a 2 bedroom townhouse where everything was packed into boxes estimate was 5 hours. They also promised 8 free boxes but refused to delivery ahead of time and i requested all 8 boxes to be wardrobes. when ward robe boxes arrived they were not complete and were only 4 requiring someone to come later.
Upon arrival they presented numerous forms for extra charges for things like wrapping furniture called crating, climbing steps greater then 5 at both locations, $1 per foot for bubble wrap etc. And they called the move "Emergency" even though it was contracted in December.
Total moved took 2 days totaling at least 16 hours mainly due to small truck where everything was stacked to roof, had no hydraulic lift, the workers had no dolleys or mover slings.
They refused to remove our furniture from their truck unless they were paid cash or certified check of $4,800.
Ultimately, they reassembled nothing.
They damaged many items of furniture and have not responded to an insurance claim which was emailed to them with photos and estimates.
They damaged king sized mattress, 35 inch tv, lamp, front door , left oil stains in drive way, scratched an expensive hutch etc. Remarkably, nothing that was packed by me was damaged.
