I Googled for HP Customer support and this company came up first in the search. I was in a rush and called fro my cell right away.
Someone talked to me and logged into my laptop remotely right away. Since I thought it is HP I simply allowed it. And the rep. said a technician will contact me within 20 mins. Since I didn't hear back from them, I called the same number. Then I realized I have to pay to get the help. (My notebook is only 4 months old.)
However I took off the phone and disconnected the remote server. Next day I got a call from the company called My Computer Works (http://www.mycomputerworks.com) saying that they got my number from HP and they have to charge to fix my computer. name of the guy who called is Vinc @ 1-480-240-9417 and confirmed that he got the number from HP itself, and even if I talk to HP they will direct me again to their company. I realized it is for sure to be a scam.
