Scam Alert! Award Notifications
You’ve won $2,000,000!!!!
That title! Those words! Oh, how we wish it were true. Who wouldn’t love to win that much money!
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but, it’s just another scam.
Notification letters from companies like the “Award Notification Commission” have been received by hundreds, if not thousands of people, notifying them that they have won $2,000,000.00.
The catch? You have to pay them first! Usually the letters state that you have to claim your prize or enter a sweepstakes by sending them $12.99.
Oh, in case you didn’t realize by now, you probably did not win $2,000,000.
So, before you send $12.99 to claim your prize, go buy yourself a lotto ticket. You probably have a better chance of winning money that way!
