I was scammed for $200 from this person. I thought I was getting a parrot. I was told if I send the money using Western Union that it would be safe. I was told by western union and the person I thought I was getting the parrot from that they can't get the money until I release the MTCN number. However, this was not the case. In this persons country (Cameroon) you don't need the MTCN number to pick up the money. After I sent the initial $200, I was asked to send another $250 for insurance. I knew something was not right. I did not send the additional money. After I tried to contact the person for a refund, one has never been given. Please be aware of this person and his website. - The www.african-grey-parrot.in is down but the www.pridebirds.in/index.html is still up. I deleted my cookies and I still see it. I guess he was scamming with two websites.

- When were you suppose to get your bird. I was suppose to get mine Monday. Bought a bunch of stuff yesterday in preparation.

- I was supposed to get the bird Friday. Thank goodness I didn't buy anything yet. I'm so glad you got the websites shut down. If I see anymore websites I will let you know. Hopefully facebook will take him off too. I'm going to contact the embassy in Cameroon and see what they can do.
