This happened several years ago...I've yet to get anything done about it. Phone call after phone call "nothing"..the last time I got to acctualy speak with a person I was told they recieved my check for being able to get my credit card but never received my paperwork back, which I thought was strange, so the decision was made that I could "fax" all of my information to them including SS#, same info I had to fill out on the application and was told within 2 weeks my credit card would be mailed to me. I settled for that. But two weeks came, then months and years has gone by, and they took my money, but I never received my credit card. I tried everything I knew to do and never recieved one single answer or help in this matter. All Plantinum credit card offers I still get I throw in the trash. "Back up a sec"...I did take one of those credit card offers and called the phone number on it and explained what had happened to me and the money I had mailed to them for the card etc., and I was told they coudln't help me. I yet to have this settled from plantinum. I will never attempt to apply for their credit card, for in my opinion they are a rip off, a scam,...whatever the truth maybe in their eyes. I was "scammed" out of my money...fraud..I paid for a service I never received..but they got all of my information including my ss#... I would like to be paid back the money they owe me!!! I do not want their lousy credit card. I do not trust a word they say to me, they lie, lie, lie...all fraudulent! I do have a check for the amount in which I paid to them so it's not like I can't prove sending them money agreed upon in the application.
Pltinum Credit card Services is totally Fraudulent and I would never recommend anyone chancing their personal information with them!
It's so easy for these huge companies to play their phone tag games, never to get anyone who will truely handle the matter at hand. But what angerd me the most was that I faxed my personal information to them a second time & told I would receive my card in 2 weeks. Again it was all a scam to get my personal info, and my money. The BBB doesn't do anything to help. I'm contimplating sueing...but when I had last contacted the first platinum people I spoke with their phone number no longer a valid number. Too many companines are doing this and have for years so authorities can't catch up with them. I believe Authorities should be able to go through all of their business accounts and be able to find the check I wrote along with the same things which has happned to others. But the question is..will anyone do anything about all these companies doing this to normal hardworking people??? These business get to make their large amought of money..taxes credits etc. etc., but "us" the little people...the BIG GUYS just let them keep stealing from us!!! I'm thouroughly PISSED! I'm disabled...and I need my money!!!
