I booked a car rental through expedia.com, it was a package of 4 days, extra of car rental charge is $17. I supposed to return the rental car yesterday butbecause my mom went to hospital for emergency! I had to rent 1 extra day! I phoned budget yesterday, the rep. ( Mary ) said no problem and will pre- authorize to charge my credit card for $78.. I asked her why because it is $17 plus tax will be $20 something. And then, she said she know and claimed it is only a pre-authorize and will only charge me $20 something extra for extra day! I returned the rental car today! They charged me $47+tax for 1 extra day and $60 for drive out of Canada to Washington state which at the time I got my rental car the counter person did not tell me! I went inside their office and ask for the adjustment! The counter person delined to return my money and said that it was on the contract! However, I never received any contract from Budget! They said everything is on the contract! The only contract I have is from expedia.com and it said very clear that it is $17 for each extra day! I believed they scam all the customers and just the matter of nobody ever have time to check!
