I ordered the trial pot of Purasilk skin cream for the price of the postage. At that time, I failed to notice that, lost in the terms and conditions, there was an agreement to pay the full price for the pot if they did not receive the empty pot back within 14 days. On receipt of the cream I suddenly realised what I had got myself into and returned the product immediately by recorded delivery. I then noticed that my bank account had been charged with £74.95. After numerous attempts to phone Natural Health Network Ltd, I eventually got through to an American lady, who told me that they had no record of receiving the pot I returned to them and that I was therefore liable for the full price of the trial product. The post office is looking into it. My complaint lies with the fact that I feel tricked - the conditions of the trial should have been plainly set out to explain the financial commitment right from the outset. I doubt very much that I will be refunded, but I have written to my bank to ensure that no more payments will be made to this shady company.
