I too received a check from "Nielsen Research Group" for $2400 and immediately recognized it as a scam. They use the name Nielsen like the real ratings group to make it sound legit. I have been searching for jobs online and sending out resumes, I assume that is how they got my name and address. This is not the first time I have received a suspicious check from a shady company for the same reason, I fortunately have never cashed these checks but can't believe with all the info available on the internet they continue to get away with this. They probably change phone #'s and address' often. Always remember if its too good to be true, then its false. Trust your instincts.

  • this is just a scam, right? the amount is for $2400. The name on it is John Michaels Inc. 370 Springfield Ave. Berkeley Heights, NJ, 07922. It also says INVESTORS BANK Savings Bank Berkeley Heights office, Investors 24 hour service. I guess i should just rip this up and throw it away, right?
