I bought a REO (bank-owned) property from this company two years ago. Technically, my IRA bought the property, not me. Since then, I have never gotten any information from them. They are supposed to be marketing the property and managing it. In March of this year, I got a (bulk) email about delinquent taxes. Despite frantic emails and phone calls, they didn't respond AT ALL until I copied one of my emails to Equity Trust Company, the custodian of my Self-Directed IRA.

Then, on June 8, 2011, I got one email saying they would look into it. Have heard NOTHING since, despite frequent calls and emails. I have no idea if there are delinquent taxes, or if the city took the property because of delinquent taxes. I did some internet research on this company and found out that many people are having trouble with them. The owner, Rusty Shields, got into some trouble in California regarding aggressive techniques to get elderly investors to put in their retirement money. There are other allegations against him, as well.
