Foreigners are calling my cell phone, my home phone, my fiance's cell phone, all our phones 24/7 telling us that if we or our attorneys do not contact them within the next 24 hours we are in trouble with 'their government.' It is always the same man and he has about 25 different alias names. Today his name is Mark Hampton. Sometimes he is Ryan Williams, Oscar, John Smith, all very common American names. Beware of this man. He called me and offered me a payday loan of $1500.00 but first he told me I had to go to Western Union and send $180.00 as a security deposit/first payment. I fell for it like an IDIOT and sent the money (TO INDIA). He told me I was going to receive the $1500.00 within 5 minutes of sending the money - also through Western Union. He gave me a 'bogus' Western Union receiving number and then told me something went wrong and I was going to have to send ANOTHER $120.00 in order to get my loan. Of course I did not fall for that one, but it was my last $180.00 at the time and there is no way for me to get it back I don't think? If you know of a way to get my $180.00 back, PLEASE email me at [email protected] or respond to this complaint ASAP! I need that money and these people are nuts. He says his company is on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C., inside of a government building. He is really in INDIA or SOMEWHERE ELSE. I don't know. But he is STILL calling. This morning he called my fiance and offered HIM a $4000.00 Payday loan - to receive through Western Union. My fiance died laughing and asked him what his name is today. Then the guy hung up. How can we stop this man? There have been times when he calls that my cell, my fiance's cell, and my home number ring ALL AT THE EXACT SAME TIME - I can't understand it. How can he do THAT? Our numbers are not connected! And if I reject the call on my cell, it hangs up ALL THREE OF THE CALLS AT THE SAME TIME. How can that happen? Who are these people and how can I turn them in? They have like 100 different phone numbers that they call from, but none that you can call back. I guess I am going to have to change ALL my phone numbers...but for some reason I feel he will still find us. He's harassing us, threatening us, and it is completely 'out of control.' Maybe I should call the police? This is just absolutely ridiculous and it is driving both me and my fiance CRAZY to the point that we turn our phones down or off MOST OF THE TIME. If you are receiving these kinds of phone calls/threats/loan offers for large amounts of money, etc., please let us know. We need to know this is happening to others besides just us! I am sure this man is a millionaire by now in his country...but this is the United States of America and we don't stand for this kind of thing, DO WE? Thank you and I hope to hear back from you, Tiffiny and Robert
