I was first called on Sat. 12/3/2011 by SHAWN KING with a business proposition for my investment of $15K that would purchase business leads for credit card services. E Merchant Man claims most businesses are paying 3-7% on credit card transactions and they could transact the same business transcatoins for 1-3% savings and save businesses hundreds to thousands of dollars annually depending on the numbers of transactions in a year. E MERCHANT offers to look at businesses' past credit card statements for savings and pay $500 if there is not a cost savings for changing to their credit card services. They sold me an interest for $15K is for purchasing leads. When prospects buy credit card services profits are split 50/50. They claimed $15K would generate 7500 leads, 4% conversion rate, would bring in $165,000 revenue annually. Since 12/3/11, I have received $100. I tried calling the company several times at numbers I have previously reached them at when they were recruiting me, and those numbers now are disconnected. They said the $15K investment would would secure a bank line of credit in 5-10 business days, and pay back my credit cards in 60-90 days. I have received only $100 on 2/23/2012, and I am not able to contact this company at 888-528-9699.
