A younger looking man in his 20's came to our door. He stated he had a field trip coming up for music and that his dad wanted him to raise some of the money himself. He stated that he and his dad found this company that would give magazines to the troops for every magazine subscription ordered. I ordered one magazine subscription. Time has gone by and I came across the Absolute Marketing receipt that I kept, realizing I never received the magazine. I have called and called the number listed on the receipt and only receive a message "all representatives are busy, please leave a message and we will call you right back". I have left several messages with no reply. I cannot believe I was scammed. It makes me sick to think about how many people have fallen victim to this scam. It is upsetting that these people pull you in by using the troops who are serving our country as the line to get you to purchase a magazine subscription.
