My husband received a text message stating the following:
IQ Power: Trivia Alerts 3xmsgs/wk at $9.99/mo Enter your PIN on the website: **** Msg&Data Rates May Apply info: tinyurl.com/82m8uce Rely HELP for help

Of course he did NOT go to this website or enter in a Pin number, however less than one minute later he received another text stating some random fact about Wyoming as well as two other text messages back to back. After calling to thoroughly chew some *** we gathered the information that this is a third party call center that is helping scam people into getting this service, even without actually signing up for it!!! In short, here's how to handle this....one, give the number a call and give them a piece of your mind, my husbands call was definitely not nice but hopefully they start to realize this is a horrible company to work for scamming people out of money, two, call your service provider and make sure they stop payments to this company for all future charges, they are usually really helpful, three, tell your friends, this is ridiculous and these companies should not get away with this, and finally, just make sure you are checking your phone bills regularly. Unfortunately these companies make a killing off scamming people so just be aware.
