Ocean Canyon Property - Campground Resort

My wife and I visited their site Tres Rios on May 7th 2011 and attended what was supposed to be a 90 minute presentation which lasted from 9:00 until 1:45 p.m. We were told we got a Bank of America Bank Loan for $5495.00 and they told us it would be $50.00 a month - billing statement $279 a month. I told them I DID NOT want a credit card. I only carry one card and it was a visa card and that was all I wanted. Much to my suprise - I got a bank of america credit card to pay for the membership which I didnot authorize. These people did not disclose hidden fees from the other campgrounds they signed us up for. They pressured us into signing the papers. I was sick when we went there. I had cellulits with a stafficocus infection of the leg. We left Sunday morning and on Monday my wife took me to Mesquite hospital and I was admitted for one week and transfered to an extend stay hospital for another week. On the 3rd business day, my wife e-mail and phone Ocean Canyon Property to explain our situation anc cancel the membership - they stated we COULD NOT cancel the membership. We told them at the time we were on a limited budget and that I had no insurance on Part A Medicare. They did not care - they told use we had to pay them.
Since then - My visa card has been cancel - I can not get a credit card in my name - my credit has been damaged and I am 72 years old. I believe I am a victim of fraud. I must eat by 11:00 a.m. every day - I am a borderline diabitc and I get lightheaded if I don't eat. On top of that with what was wrong with my leg - I was not feeling well either. My wife told them over and over it was not in our budget but they kept badgering us - She has writting to everyone but no one will enforce the laws on the books - she has written to the attorney general - the real estate commssion, and senators, legislators, and everyone else - everyone passes the buck, she has a severe urinary track infection caused by stress of worrying and antibotics won't cure the problem - she has spent over $4500 on doctor bills and the doctor can't cure the problem. Why can this company get away with taking advantage of elderly citizen and NO ONE WILL HELP US? HE has ruined my credit - How many others are out there? My wife hired a lawyer for $2495.00 and they are working on it but the company won't even talk to the lawyer - so what are we going to DO?????? If they won't talk to us and they won't talk to the lawyer are they really a good company?
