I put an advert on gumtree looking for HP DV8 laptop; working or non-working. Sharnelle Guest who said he works as senior staff in the Royal Bank of Scotland in Nottingham phone me and offered me a faulty HP DV8 for £80. Rather than post it, I arranged to travail and collect it from him at the coach station in Nottingham. However when I got to Victoria coach station, the fare was £29. 95 instead of the £11.20 if booked over the internet for the six and a half hour round trip. I phoned sharnelle Guest to inform him and because he sounded so convincing, i accepted his offer to sent the goods to me within the hour by post; once the money had been paid into his account. I therefore went to the LLoyds Bank, West Minister Road branch in Victoria and paid £80 cash in his account Mansfield Branch in the name of Sharnelle Guest. He promised dispatching the laptop within the hour. This is the second day and he has not sent it to me. Instead he tried selling me an identical working laptop for £500 for my colleague. According to her, as a senior staff within the Royal Bank of Scotland, the laptop was a duplicated upgrade for him by his office. The faulty one was what he had been using until it went faulty. I asked him how he expects me to pay £500 into his account when he has not dispatched the goods for £80? Since then he no longer answers my calls.
On looking on the internet. I was shocked to find several warnings by victims who have sent him money and never receive any goods. He use the phone number 07875976929 which is the same number quoted by other victims. It has just occurred to me that I have become one of his victims to the value of £80 or $132 at 1.6 exchange rate. The travel card I bought to connect my trip to Nottingham, the phone calls ant text brings my total lost to about $150. I have the receipt for the cash payment I made directly into Sharnelle Guests accounts.
I have all evidence of the text he sent me plus the bank payment receipt I made.
